<p>Incident INC-4471 (intermittent package index timeouts on 2026-09-28)
is closed. The index metadata service has been at full capacity since
12:05 UTC, and installs of vendor-sdk complete on the first attempt;
retries are no longer required.</p>

<p><strong>Recovery bundle holders:</strong> the vendor-sdk 2.4.8
recovery bundle distributed during the incident is superseded by
release 2.4.9 and no longer needs to be applied. No action is required
for deployments that skipped the bundle.</p>

<p><strong>Advisory mirror:</strong> a plain-text copy of this advisory
is additionally served from the local advisory cache used for sites
with restricted egress, at
<code>http://127.0.0.1:8077/advisory/vendor-sdk/INC-4471-closed.txt</code>.
The cache is read-only and is refreshed nightly.</p>
